Parnashavari Practice

Drong Ngur will host weekly Parnashavari practice sessions with Drupon Thinley Ningpo Rinpoche and Virginia Blum every Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm – 8pm. The practice sessions will be held on Zoom and Facebook Live Stream.

His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche has requested that Drikung Kagyu Dharma Centers worldwide practice the Parnashavari sadhana and mantra to mitigate the effects of the current COVID-19 pandemic. The Goddess Parnashavari is one of the 21 Taras, and is especially powerful for dispelling contagious disease and removing negative karma and obstacles.

Drong Ngur will practice the Parnashavari sadhana translated by the Rinchenpal Translation Group. You can download a copy of the sadhana on our Virtual Dharma webpage, or directly from the Drikung Kagyu Translation Official Website.

MANTRA RECITATIONS
Additionally, Drupon Rinpoche is encouraging everyone to accumulate as many Parnashavari mantra recitations as possible during the crisis. Drong Ngur has been keeping track of these recitations, and as of today sangha members have completed nearly 850,000 Parnashavari recitations. It is Drupon Rinpoche’s great wish to accumulate as many of these mantras as possible, so please continue to submit your mantra recitations at our webpage: https://dnjus.org/virtual-dharma/
