Dharmachakra Meditation Hall

Drong Ngur Jangchubling is thrilled to announce that we completed the final stage of construction on our center’s expansion and renovation plan!

Since 2012, Drupon Thinley Ningpo Rinpoche and members of the Drong Ngur Sangha have come so far in realizing our construction goals. Since 2012, we have:

  • Purchased a 1.6-acre site.
  • Rebuilt interim shrine room, guest quarters, and Drupon Rinpoche’s living quarters.
  • Erected the meditation hall building.
  • Fully paved a parking lot and surrounding roads.
  • Installed water well, new septic, a retention pond, and irrigation system.
  • Developed sustainable gardens and extensive landscaping.
  • Hand modeled a traditional portico for meditation hall entrance.
  • Installed A/C system.
  • Built out beautiful cedarwood wall interior and altar.
  • Installed state-of-the-art video and sound system.

Drong Ngur Jangchubling is fortunate to have a resident lama who is highly skilled, understands the construction process, and works tirelessly each day on the project. In addition, sangha members are continuously contributing towards the project with their labor and unique skill sets in land development, contracting, appraisal, project management, communication, and design.
