Drong Ngur Jangchubling is pleased to announce that Drupon Thinley Ningpo Rinpoche will lead a Vajrayogini Practice Retreat Saturday, May 21st & Sunday, May 22nd from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm EDT in person and on Zoom.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: A Vajrayogini Empowerment is a necessary prerequisite for attending this retreat. With the intention to create an environment of deeper practice we are encouraging practitioners to attend the full day of retreat on Saturday and/or Sunday, if possible.

Lunch will be served on both days and registration is required. Contact Paula Testa (cowlade1@yahoo.com) or Damien Contessa (dcontessa23@gmail.com) to register.

Vajrayogini is a female deity belonging to the Annuttarayoga category of secret mantra. She is regarded as one of the foremost meditational deities in all four schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Most popular as a generation stage yidam for the 6 Yogas of Naropa, Vajrayogini is a wisdom dakini whose essence is wisdom and great compassion. Her practice is known to be a skillful method for transforming strong passions into transcendent bliss through destroying ego grasping and working for the benefit of others. During this retreat, we will be practicing from the text The Supreme Bestowal of Aspirations: An Abbreviated Jetsun Vajrayogini Sadhana, based on a collection of traditional Drikung Kagyu texts, compiled by Drupon Rinchen Dorje Rinpoche.
